- ★ ★ ★ ☆ ☆The location is absolutely stunning, it's a cheap way to take in the harbour while relaxing in an historic facility! Unfortunately the pool isn't very easy to navigate, friendlier staff and better signage, lighting and maintenance would help. Also the water is extremely salty and has a high concentration of chlorine as well - really stung my eyes and mouth, would not recommend lap swimming without goggles.By Lucy Owen, March 05, 2017

- ★ ★ ★ ★ ★I love this pool for what it is a 50m pool for lap swimming. The pool is perfect but facilities -such as the staircase- could do with a bit more maintenance. As a regular swimmer here I am concerned about the "upgrade plans" that are supposed to make this pool "more family friendly" with a slide an all that ..I hope it does not happen - this pool is world famous for its location and it should be kept what it is - a swimming pool - not a water park.
